The Story of a Fly, a Caterpillar, and a Friend

This is my good friend Emily. She is funny, laughs at herself, and makes me laugh. We mostly watch superhero movies together and the occasional cartoon. (Frozen, anyone?) We don't always get to hang out as much I would wish, but when we do, we have a good time. We sometimes have lots to say, sometimes we don't say very much at all.

Yesterday we spent over an hour in the parking lot in my car listening to music. I introduced her to the 1812 Overture, that never ending song that is 14 minutes long, and she thought it sounded like something from Tom and Jerry. I don't think I'll ever here that song the same way again.

We had Burger King for lunch, and went to the park afterwards. A giant horse fly chased us a quarter of a mile down a hiking path, and somehow a caterpillar crawled in my shoe and I squished it accidentally. It was seriously the nastiest thing I've ever seen. I walked back to the car barefoot, and we drove to Culver's to get chocolate ice-cream. All in all, it was a rather fun filled Saturday!
